Call for disabled emerging choreographer 

GDance’s previous call for a Wales based disabled choreographer has now been extended to include England based artists

GDance are offering a Choreographic Fellowship which offers a disabled, emerging choreographer the opportunity to develop his/her practice specifically with large scale, site based, performance events; working with community companies (and potentially professional dancers).

The Fellow will benefit from the artistic direction and some mentoring from  International Disabled Choreographer Marc Brew with the support of GDance.

Value of the Fellowship

GDance will provide a fee of £3,000 plus travel, accommodation and per diems. We would be really grateful if you would spread the word to anyone you think might be interested.

GDance Choreographic Fellowship  2014 

Bespoke support for a disabled emerging choreographer including:

  • Artistic direction and some mentoring by an internationally recognised disabled choreographer 
  • The opportunity to work on an exciting site specific production with GDance, Ballet Cymru and Welsh Venues 
  • Further your choreographic practice in working with large community casts in outdoor locations. Depending on experience, there may also be an opportunity to work with the professional company
