Stuck in the Mud at Blackfriars - a Choreographers Journey

Blackfriars Priory- what a journey!

From the vastness and greenery of Hidcote to Gloucester town centre Blackfriars Priory. Complete different in lots of ways, space, ambience and size.

Such an amazing cast with lots of dancers, some of which had not danced before - and participating in Stuck In The Mud, really allowed them to shine as individuals and groups which made the experience that much more rich.

Definitely a challenge when all of the choreography set in site specific areas of black friars had to be changed, adjusted or even removed because of weather conditions, I.e. The Rain!

In such a beautiful small space not everyone could dance at the same time, and it was both fulfilling and challenging to have everyone perform at least once - owning and concentrating on one section that they could call and make their own.

Like I said with such an amazing cast they dealt with the changes and put on a brilliant beautiful show.

I'm incredibly proud and humbled by their performances, all 100 of them and hope they keep dancing!

I also managed to step in at least once, which was great fun! For the finale last section, just a great time was had by all! Can't wait for the next one!!

On to Newport Market...! Here we go!
