Gloucester Fellowship Opportunity at GDance

The opportunity is open to freelance dance leaders and/or small dance businesses with an interest in working with children and young people.  As this work is funded by Gloucester City Council, GDance Fellows must already be working with (or be prepared to expand their work into) communities in Gloucester.

The selected Fellows will:
  • be supported to design a professional development plan tailored to their needs
  • develop leadership skills (eg. through mentoring, teaching observation and feedback)
  • understand inclusive practice (ie. how to accommodate a range of abilities / disabilities)
  • get practical experience, eg. through supporting GDance’s inclusive youth dance company
  • be supported towards other dance career aims (eg. profile-raising, networking, fundraising)
GDance will select two Fellows, through application, interview and – where appropriate – a teaching observation.  The total value of the offer for each fellow, including time with dance industry experts and consultants, is £1,000.
